На подпись Президенту РФ представлен окончательный текст поправки к Гражданскому кодексу РФ, касающейся обязанности раскрытия бенефициаров оффшоров, ведущих деятельность в РФ. Изменения устанавливают правовые последствия отказа предоставить информацию о реальном собственнике оффшорной компании, действующей на территории России.
По поручению президента Виктор Зубков создал межведомственную рабочую группу по выявлению и пресечению нелегальных финансовых операций 12 января 2012 года. Первое заседание группы состоялось 27 января, в нем приняли участие председатель Центробанка Сергей Игнатьев, представители прокуратуры, МВД, ФНС и Службы экономической безопасности ФСБ. Участники группы пообещали уже через 2 недели сообщить о результатах борьбы с оффшорными и коррупционными схемами.
В настоящее время в Гонконге ставка налога на прибыль составляет 16,5%. Ставка остается неизменной уже около 3 лет, прежний ее размер составлял 17,5%. Снижение ставки обещало продолжиться, ведь нынешняя администрация Гонконга обещала к 2012 году уменьшить налог на прибыль до 15%.
